The Club Teens in Action (TIA) application is focused around youth development. The application promotes positive attitudes, behaviors, promotes self-sufficiency, and education. The Club TIA program is funded by the New York State Department of Health and aims to reduce teen pregnancies and promote academic and individual successes. It was created in January 2006 and works with Urban Health Plan’s adolescent patients. It offers cultural enrichment, mentoring, tutoring, and college preparation as well as peer health education. The program is open to adolescents between 13 and 21 years old.
